Concertmaster of Haifa Symphony Orchestra

Mark Tiktiner embarked on his musical journey at the age of 5 under the guidance of Lev Mirchin. In 1990, he moved to Israel, where his prodigious talent quickly blossomed. By 12, Mark had already secured first prize in an international competition.

After graduating from the Israeli Music Conservatory in Tel Aviv, Mark moved to Germany to study at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München with Jakob Gilman and Zahar Bron.

Mark’s early debut at the age of 8 set the stage for an illustrious career. He has graced stages across the globe, performing in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ukraine, Russia, Spain, and the U.S.A. His remarkable talent has led him to collaborate with leading orchestras such as the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, Haifa Philharmonic Orchestra, Bayerischen Philharmonie, Jungen Münchner Philharmonie, and many others.

Mark has performed in concerts and chamber music with legendary musicians Ivry Gitlis, Ida Handel, Itamar Golan, and Maxim Vengerov. He has also played as guest concertmaster under the batons of Zubin Mehta, Yoel Levi, Sir Colin Davis, Itzhak Perlman, and more.

Mark has been invited to perform for distinguished individuals, including Bill and Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Angela Merkel, the Queen of Belgium, the King of the Netherlands, and many others.

Currently, Mark plays on a violin made by the esteemed luthier Domenico Montagnana, on loan from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation and from the collection of William E. Schwartz.Additionally, Mark is the conductor of the Chamber Orchestra of the Kiryat Bialik Conservatory.
